Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread

Well, I've a new "album" out too. It's a little 3-track single. It's the first time I'm recording anything with my band though so I'm quite proud of it : http://inbearsuits.bandcamp.com/

Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread

Just released a new solo album. I am highly influenced by the cure, echo and the bunnymen, chameleons, verve, red house painters/mark kozelek/sun kil moon, cocteau twins, etc. I have tons of releases on bandcamp, and am relatively unknown...

http://theconsolationproject.bandcamp.c … our-demons

Check it out if you're in the mood for something new and crazy.
If you like it, there's SO MANY more albums you can listen to all for free, and for sale if you wish to own it.

Thank you all!

Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread

The new Honeychurch album releases Tuesday 2/14 and the whole record is streaming right now:

http://honeychurch.bandcamp.com/album/w … re-with-me

We've been consistently compared to RHP/MK (I have been a fan since the early days).  Take a minute to listen -  check out tracks 9 & 10 in particular.

thanks

Some of my music, if anyone is interested

I absolutely adore that Saint Astius track Realtime.  I'm in love with it, I think.

Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread

So, if anyone is interested my band jsut recorded some decent live practice recordings. I write most of the songs and play Pedal Steel guitar, and regular guitar. My band mate played guitar and sings.

If you like it "like" it on the facebook, we'll keep you informed on the goings on.

We were recently described as Pink Floyd playing Neil Young songs with Burt Bacharach.

I dig "30 Miles", progression is a little "Songs for a Blue Guitar"-ish, but not to the degree that "Songs for a Blue Guitar" is like "Fade Into You". (This is a good thing.) BTW when you linked to your other band further up the thread, the Soundcloud link actually just goes to your Facebook.

Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread

Hi LettersInKanji i'm listening to your music - Last Tide - right now. Really impressive!
Children is my favourite. It has a 80's feeling and a construction that reminds me of RHP. Very profound voice!
Nice work. Mastering excellent!

I discovered April shortly after I moved to Berlin, and it became a personal tradition that I listened two Sun Kil Moon, whenever I was on a train to my hometown. The way the endlessly long songs make time fly is just perfect for an eight hour train trip. The album and that time inspired me to write two songs, "Juli" and "1615", the former musically, the later lyrically. You can listen to them here: http://soundcloud.com/hans-solo/sets/silence

Hi Jobbl. I lived in Berlin as well and sometimes i took the train to get home (Padua, Italien) so i knew what you are talking about! I really like your song Juli, there's the epic and the colours!
Next time i come to Berlin i will surely come to see you performing
