Defective Caldo Verde CD's?

My copies of "Find Me, Ruben Olivares, Live in Spain" and "Live at Lincoln Hall" both have messed up final tracks (Mistress and Duk Koo Kim respectively) that end up skipping when I listen to them in itunes or on my ipod. I figured "Find Me" might have simply been a fluke, but now that I just got a copy of "Lincoln Hall" with the same problem I wanted to ask you guys if this has happened to you, and if so, does it have to do with faulty CD's, ripping to itunes, etc., and if there's a fix any of you know of?
*Update* "Duk Koo Kim" seems to play fine off the CD but I just tried ripping it for a third time and it had the same problem played in itunes. I should also tell you guys that "Mistress" was so messed up that the CD wouldn't play in a CD player, so there is that difference between the two discs.

If you're on a Mac, try ripping with XLD.

If you're on a PC, you should definitely be ripping with EAC. Use this guide to set up EAC properly.
