Re: 08/11/11 @ Union Chapel, London, England (Mark solo)

It will go for a fortune on ebay.

I should have mentioned it will obviously be sealed. It's not to be opened or listened to. Just to hold close to your chest and cherish.

Once the special black vinyl editions are released. He might even try and trick you by putting in a blank vinyl to test the geekitry. Or it might not be the version of Void or just blank but instead 30 minutes of Mark ranting about how much he hates his fans and touring etc, all in black and white audio.

I haven't really worked out how the Kozelek Geek Points system will work. Writing down setlists while at the gig is certainly a main contributing act.

You can't blame him, he needs to keep coming up with novel ideas so he can continue to live in Nob, or should I say Knob (is that an insult across the pond?), Hill.

I knew he lived in SF, but you know the district! You are running away with this, that vinyl could be coming your way.

I know, I love how he hates his sad fans, yet it's them that buy the all the vinyls and live albums.

Also I think he overestimates how many people post on here. I think when he plays a gig he's convinced himself that half the crowd are all on the internet geeking it up about him. When really you would be lucky if there are about 2 people at each of the shows who would come in here.

Don't ever let on that you don't like his current material. He seems to have some resentment towards a lot of the RHP songs.

Well I suppose he's got to pay the bills like everyone else.

It was a good show, regardless. Some of the set list was a little too predictable ( although played perfectly as usual ), maybe sometimes these shows are a dimeadozen ?

See this is why we need the PM system, having to resort to subtleties. Email messaging link either doesn't work or a lot of people are ignoring me.

I noticed there is one up, but it's not the full show.

...disregard.

I think the source has dropped the seed. Apparently it wasn't working for some reason. Beaten by a computer. I bet he feels like a right luddite.

It's got to be a 1 track vinyl of a version of Void. Not even a good version, just him muttering his way through it, to the point he doesn't even finish it, just gives up near the end.
But it's hand numbered, by Mark, only one copy made.
Front cover is a black and white picture of a drain. Vinyl is coloured grey.
Before it's posted out to you, Mark will fling it against his living room wall in an act of his sheer contempt for you.

You'll get the first one but eventually he will release a hundred of them in special black vinyl version.

^_^ i like this.
