Hammock

Any fans on here? Their new double album Departure Songs is up for pre-order. Their last 2 albums are excellent, a superb mix of ambience and blissful shoegaze guitar. They send chills through me like Slowdive still do. Check their bandcamp page and download the free track 'Ten thousand years won't save your life'.

My 3 favourite tracks of theirs right now are Still Secrets Remaining, Sinking Inside Yourself and Parker's Chapel, from their recent EPs.

I think this album may be their best yet. . .

Re: Hammock

I AM trying to sell Hammock! All Koz fans and fans of early 90s shoegaze/dream pop should at least check them out. Their last album 'Chasing after shadows, living with the ghosts' and the 4 track EP of out-takes from the album are both superb listening for autumn nights

Re: Hammock

Is this the same group that released the album "Kenotic?"

Re: Hammock

Cool. I ordered the CD and by doing so got an immediate download, which was nice. I think the 19 tracks work well as a whole. While they've not done anything drastically new (not sure their fans would want them to anyway!), they've refined their formula and the new album is a soothing, chilled-out, blissful ambient masterpiece
